River Otter Facts from Nature Dome
10:18 PM, Friday, July 16, 2010
According to National Geographic (http://kids.nationalgeographic.com/kids/animals/creaturefeature/river-otter/), river otters are less-stinky relatives of skunks and can hold their breath and stay underwater for up to 4 minutes. Don't try that at home!
With Nature Dome mammals, though, you can put the river otter's powerful fish chomp Attack and other abilities to work for you as you duel your way to victory.

Nature Dome on eBay!
10:17 PM, Sunday, July 11, 2010
Finally took the plunge and got Nature Dome up on eBay. Check the listing out here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260634094858&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
Hopefully, we'll get some attention and a few bids on the world's virtual marketplace. If all goes well, we'll keep a deck or two available there at all times--if nothing else, it's a relatively cheap way to get more clicks to the site.
In other news, another online sales resource has come to our attention, and this one offers some exciting potential for realizing the goal of expanding Nature Dome well beyond the inaugural Mammals deck.
Stay tuned . . . and, in the meantime, check us out on eBay.

ChessJam.com Review
10:20 PM, Sunday, June 13, 2010
Found a great free online chess portal created by a friend of a friend at www.ChessJam.com.
It features really nice graphics of a chess castle in which there are rooms upon rooms of chess bots and live players from around the world who connect through the site to play.
The game boards themselves are nicely rendered in perspective 3D or, if the player chooses, can be displayed in the standard 2D overhead view with piece symbols instead.
New players start with a provisional rating of 1500, which changes for better or worse (as in my case) as the player wins or loses (like I have).
So far, I've been humbled by chess bots and human players alike . . . but I plan to get my chess chops back and start winning again soon--and there's no better place to do it than ChessJam.

Okapi Facts from Nature Dome
10:37 PM, Monday, May 31, 2010
According to the San Diego Zoo's website (http://www.sandiegozoo.org/animalbytes/t-okapi.html), okapis are the only living relatives of giraffes--even though the bold black and white stripes on their legs make them look half zebra. Those stripes may stand out at the zoo, but in their rainforest homes, they help okapis blend in with the spotty, dappled sunlight that sneaks through the forest canopy.
In Nature Dome Mammals, the okapi's excellent camouflage make it a pretty good escape artist, too.
Find out more about the okapi and how to use its natural abilities as you play and train with your own deck of Nature Dome Mammals. Order today at www.NatureDomeGame.com.

Nature Dome Animal Facts: Narwhal
8:16 PM, Thursday, May 27, 2010
According to National Geographic (http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/narwhal.html), this "unicorn of the sea" doesn't have a horn at all. It's "unicorn horn" is actually an enormous tooth that grows right through the male narwhal's upper lip and up to a length of almost 9 feet!
In Nature Dome, that amazing tusk not only gives the narwhal a respectable Attack Value on its Power Card, but also makes the narwhal Attack Boost card the most powerful one in the deck.
Put the one-two power of the narwhal to work for you with your own deck of Nature Dome Mammals--available with free shipping at www.NatureDomeGame.com.
